7 today, no one has laid in the box in the feed room since I found the eggs a few days ago.

I got a new high number from the 8 pullets! There were 7 eggs from that group of 8! Way to go girls!

The old ladies.....they are doing their best. I got 4 from the group ranging from 2-5 years and as expected zero from the bantams ranging from 5 to over 8.

Grand total today was 11. I am happy with that number.

All 6 of my layers came through before 10am!! They were clucking and singing and throwing each other out of the favorite nesting box while I was in there trying to clean. Even one of the babies gave me a really nice squat. Spring is in the air!!!
