Sorry to hear that. It’s happened to me too. I have since installed an electric fence around my three coops/runs and so far it’s been great at protecting the chickens.

We’re working on better protecting our chickens. They free range normally so they’re a little more vulnerable, but predators haven’t been much of an issue with our dogs around. We had only been away for an hour or so when it happened. We’ve also been talking to the dog owners to make sure this never happens again.
