1 so far. It was blue. Which means Eos (EE)
Which is surprising since the just finished her 2nd adult fall moult. She would be the first hen I have ever had do a fall moult and lay again this time of year.

We’ve only just got our ten hens and a cockerel so we’re only getting 3 eggs out of a possible ten but we normally have a double yoker every other day so that’s good!

Yeah, i miss them double yolks.
Someone breed a hen that lays one daily, please.
Coyotes were yelping last evening around 8pm, my neighbor text me. My girls were locked up tight, i texted back.

Still only 1 of 5 from my now 29 week olds, but the one who's been laying for a few weeks decided to switch to the other box today. I did a late check in case it was someone else, but no other eggs.

Found another at lockup last evening, so 5 yesterday.
4/5 today. Confident in that number. I haven't seen 5/5 two days straight for awhile now. My girls are 20 months old today. GC

Rosie earned her keep and Blueberry earned hers. the rest are bums today. so far anyway.

update: 6:10 pm Penny gave us her first egg after molt. Take her off the bum list.Always can tell a penny egg it looks like it has a belt on. bless her! lol!!
