Hi everyone!

Much thanks. Though I will not be able to keep a roo, he will have a good home to go too.

I will be asking many questions as the days and weeks go by. These two were rescues I took from a fellow wildlife rehabber. ( Long Island , New York) . I have lots of widlife rehab experience but a not much of chickens . I'm loving it so far. I can watch them all day! Lol

Hi again everyone ! My younger pullet just likes to follow the older one around and sit and watch her scratch and peck. She eats well but she doesn't do much when I let them out to free range. She really just follows the older one around the yard plops down and watches. Is she just lazy. Lol ? She is 16 weeks old. The older one is 25 weeks and laying. Anybody out there have any answers?

Welcome to BYC! And thanks for the update.

If you don't see anything else that may cause concern, I would suggest your pullet is just doing her thing.

When I let my pullets out, some run around, some stroll around and some like to dig a hole and lay around! They are all different.
