I think it's fun to try to figure out how people come up with their user names; yours clearly suggested you enjoy spending time with a keyboard. I like it!

In my experience, it's always tougher to introduce a single bird to an existing flock, even if that flock is only two other birds -- which helps explain why I have so many chickens. I can't get just one! My solution is lots of space, communal treat feeding (grapes have solved many of my flocks' social issues) and a good deal of patience.
