Im a mother of 4 grown kids and 5 grand kids. Its just me and my hubby and 5 dogs now. I got 9 easter eggers 3 weeks ago. They are Wonderful, I love them so much. I live in Conover NC and we are working on our coop and getting a 200 sqr foot enclosed run because of the dogs. I also have a garden and do embroidery in my past time. I am disabled with arthritis and otheraiments and dont get out much but I love my animals they make me feel better! Its nice to meet you all ty.

Nine Easter Eggers should produce some beautiful baskets of eggs when those lovelies get older. Congrats on them and good luck on the building projects!

I think animals often make us feel better in ways that humans can't. Animals make no judgements and live in the moment. How many people can say they do the same?

Hope your garden is doing well; the drought here is not helping mine at all.
