(3) What breeds do you have?

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
So far, building the coop has been quite rewarding.

Hello, and welcome! Good luck with flock! What is a huli huli chicken?
Thank you.

Huli means 'turn' in Hawaiian. Huli huli chicken is a style of cooking chicken in Hawaii, turning the bird over an open fire with a homemade seasoning. We are hoping the majority of our chickens are hens for egg production, we would like to keep one or two roosters, and have a plan for an abundance of roosters.

Ok, thanks for telling me. You never know the answer without asking the question sometimes, so I did. :gigIt just goes to prove that you are never too old to learn something new!
