It depends on what breeds you want, the purpose and your budget.
Mcmurray, Meyers, ideal, cackle and mt healthy are all good hatcheries. Mt healthy is the only one with early dates this late in the ordering season.

I personally love Meyers. I will order my regular birds from them..have 2. Outstanding orders cutrently for march and june.. if i decide to get old english game bantams i will go with ideal out of texas as they are fairly close to me

I've ordered only 3 chicks from Meyer hatchery. I've done it several times years ago and never had any problems. They put a heating pad in the box to keep the chicks warm.

I had a good experience with hoover hatchery. This is a big and well-known company that works with both producers as well as hobby farmers. I made two orders there. No issues. Also, I checked hoover hatchery reviews here and didn't find any serious complaints there.
