Hard duckling poop

Hey there, I was hoping if someone could help me. My duckling is having long and somewhat hard poops, she is three days old, and eating and drinking fine. But she walks backwards sometimes like she is trying to poop and nothing comes out, oftentimes this happens ten minutes or so after she has just eaten.

What are you feeding? including supplements.
Does she have to drinking water continually? It's not unusual for a duckling to walk backwards when having to poop.

Check her vent for a block of hard dry poo or goo
Babies always back up to go poo but something should be coming out
To me sounds like possible pasty butt. If you do feel hard / dry stuff blocking the vent
Take warm wet cloths or paper towel and soften the stuff
Rubbing gently
I have even put the vent under the tap and rubbed
Getting it off but be careful as once you clear it baby will have a big poo so be ready for that

Hopefully now she has normal ones
Just heck her daily got a little bit to make sure it stays cleared
This can happen in hatching and if cleaned up baby will be fine
