I live in upstate NY in an agricultural county and plan to start raising chickens again this year. It's been 30 years since I kept farm animals and I've gotten obsessed with the idea of having chickens and ducks again.
This web site is wonderful with so many contributors and posts on anything you can think of! So much information with things that work and how to avoid mistakes. Right now I am plotting how to build a chicken house and where to put it. Still trying to figure out what breeds to get since everyone has good things to say about their favorite breed.
