I lost my Nancy today. Called the company for a new Nancy and they never called back.

I want more chickens, but we already get more eggs than we can use. But I'm seriously considering a rooster. We need a strong Male presence here to help protect our girls.

Most of my standard size birds are not laying or poor layers. I think Hawk laid 10 eggs last year. And she’s turning 2 this year.

Most of my standard size birds are not laying or poor layers. I think Hawk laid 10 eggs last year. And she’s turning 2 this year.

My girls are just 81/2 months old. I have 2 Golden buffs and 3 RIRs and a Dominique that started laying at 41/2 months and an Andalusian that was about 7 months. I get 6 - 7 eggs a day. My customer quit last month, so we are up to our eyebrows in eggs.

Hubs is all ready to build me a new coop, so I might go to the Poultry show in February and get some SOP birds to sell chicks and let the Roo get busy with our existing flock.
