Golden sex links, did I get a roo?

I have two golden sex links, one is much more white, which I didn't think anything of until I noticed the comb is more red, they are 5 1/2 weeks old

I think that is still the female color pattern for Golden Sexlinks.

Both males and females have some white, but the females have more red than the males, and it is distributed differently on their bodies. At hatch, the females are gold or red and the males are white or yellow, but as they grow their feathers they end up with both colors on each bird.

If it is actually a golden sex link it should be a female. However, the comb is large and the shoulder are a deeper red, so I think it's possible it could be a Starlight Green egger cockerel that you got by mistake. Time will tell with this one, I think.

In those photos of young chicks, there are no Golden Sexlink males. Males of Golden Sexlinks do not have even that much gold/red striping on them.

You could have a female Golden Sexlink, or you could have a male of some other kind (maybe Starlight Green Egger, as @JedJackson mentioned).

I think this one will take a bit longer to tell for sure.
