Why are my GLW chicks such assorted colors? Roos and pullets?

Just hatchery qulity thats all. I have some Silver laced ones and they have different markings a bit. As for sexing them too young to tell.

So is it genetically healthier to have this 'variety' in my flock?

I don't think that would have much to do with the health of your flock. Just hatchery qulity is all. They should feather out like all GLW

they are beautiful chicks. I have a friend that bought a beautiful Silver Laced Wyandotte Rooster Sunday night. This is a very beautiful breed of chicken

I recently purchased 2 SLWs and I have a sneaking suspicion that one of tem is in fact a GLW because her feathers do not have the distinctive white marks as the other. What do you think? Do I have a GLW here?
