Frizzle thread

hi am in ga. and this page keep shuting me down. frazzle is when u put two frizzles together . dont do it !!! i think ??wollie same .this is because a frizzle mated with a frizzle roo will have a off spring that has frizzie /fazzle/ or wollie brittle hair. that can splitte and leave them bald. and so much mor. but put a smooth anything woth a frizzle and you have cute kind and sweet all in a puff ball. hope that helps.

here is a chicken that hatched about 3.5 weeks ago and I was told it was a frizzle, thoughts?

X2 it's a smooth. Sorry. You can tell as soon as the feathers start growing if chicks will be frizzle. Here is one of mine at a week old

I just got my first frizzle chicks last week! They are 4 1/2 weeks old. Of course they have frizzled feathers but they still have baby down feathers close to the skin. Will these baby down feathers go away as they mature leaving them with just bare skin and their frizzled feathers or do they keep the baby feathers?

hi, when you say smooth can you have smooth frizzle chickens? The other eggs that hatched on the same day are easter Eggers but they are so much bigger. So she or he is a really tiny chicken that was supposed to be a frizzle.

Unsure of what it could be?
