Hello! I purchased quite a few baby chicks in February, all were supposed to be female, but my one silkie decided to start crowing in July. In my community, we are not allowed to have roosters, and as much as I love him, even with a crow collar, he will not shut up! He is a wonderful rooster, I just can not keep unfortunately. He and all the other chicks were vaccinated prior to being shipped when I purchased them. He has free ranged for the most part, some days I keep the chicks in a run while I am away or if something is being done to the backyard. There is no issues with illness or bug/mite infestations.
