Hi all, first timer here. Finally got the hubby to let me have chickens last spring, only took me a decade of asking 😂 So we started this journey last May. We're located in central NY where we have 2 seasons, mud and snow so hearty bird are a must. We've currently got 2 roos , Don our barred Rock and Zach our buff orpington. They each have their own 10x10 run and coop they share with 4 hens. Our hens are Rhode island reds, barred rocks, one black sex link and one I'm not too sure what it is honestly. Unfortunately Zach has become quite aggressive, so we're going to have to replace him. Not sure if it's his bed or what but you take your life into your hands just going to feed him some days. Which is why we've got 30 eggs in the incubator now. We figure were bound to get some good ones with that amount. It's day 22 though and we have our first pip showing this morning 🥰🐣 fingers crossed we get more than that. Stumbled across you guys while googling about hatching, so here I am. Thanks for having me
