Hello! I’ve raised chickens since I was seven, but this is my first flock since moving to my own place. My husband and I got four golden comets and one Ameraucana about three weeks ago. They’re already testing the boundaries of their brooder, so we’re currently looking for the best coop plans for our needs. Mostly wondering if it needs to be tall enough to stand in — so many of the coops here aren’t, but that’s something my dad always emphasized.
