I'm tickled pink! I finally got back to selling my fertile eggs through ebay! This (hopefully) gets me one step closer to living full time on our homestead.
I'll be truthful. The amount of work on a farm is unrelenting, and in the past I have found it difficult juggling work, farm, greenhouse, wife, cook, and maid duties. Seriously I have so much respect for fellow Homesteaders.
Ways I am homestead hustling:
1. Selling peeps
2. hatching special breeds for others
3. raising birds to either fully feathered or laying and selling those
4. You Tube (thank you if you subscribed, linked if you want to check it out) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRzy3bloK_6mbh1FxK2EzoA
5. Amazon affiliate program
6. and again Ebay

I had moved on from selling eggs to neighbors and friends simply due the fact that people still want the cheapest eggs possible. I cant give them that do to increasing feed costs. They just don't understand the amount of money you take a hit on. This is the only way I have been able to have the chickens pay for them selves, or more reasonably make the debt they make much more tolerable.
