Around here is pretty easy to get rid of cockerels, I live in the sticks, so if folks don't use them for breeding they'll eat themDarn you got lucky.
Were those babies from colts eggs?All of my chicks I've sold as unsexed chicks, but I was growing those out (just like my lavenders) to ensure I got pullets to keep (or 1 chocolate cockerel) 2/3 were cockerels and the wrong color
