Ah, that sucks. I've only ever had one egg rot and crack in the bator (of course it was tiny so everyone thought i was nuts about smelling something off until they saw the black dripping out), so I'm terrified of my eventual explosion egg

Yeah, I sniff tested everything before it went in and tossed two. Then I tossed a handful to weeping. I could smell the one that blew up on the other side of the house that morning and was so confused and then I realized what it was. Awful.

That blue hen has pretty coloring although somewhat uneven. I know it’s supposed to be more uniform but I rather like the varying shades of blue!
