What happens when you pick #3 up?
Males sometimes "honk" in surprise. (Unless you hold them regularly)
Also males have a "meaty" solid feel. Females feel lighter / boney in comparison.

Umm sounds a little honky I suppose but I just did it to them all and even the pullet sounded similar - #3 is meaty though - always been the second biggest
