Electric fence questions

An electric fence is for animals' security, of course, everything depends on where you live. It wouldn't burn your animals, it even cannot hurt them, it's only for scaring. My grandparents started to use an electric fence too, 'cause their house is near the forest and they have already lost some geese because of the foxes. The bad thing was that after they installed this fence appeared different problems with the energy. So I found some experts who are working with whole home generators, called them, they came and installed everything very quickly. Now they have always electricity and don't worry about their animals.

just a side note an observation made during daily chicken operations......cats do NOT like getting zapped by the fence. They are also not as curious about the chickens anymore. Thinking maybe I should wire the countertop....
