How would we know if our duck is egg bound?

We have two silver Apple Yard ladies, they are 1-year-old, have been laying since January. Consistently they have each laid one egg per duck per day. A week or two ago, one of the ladies laid a half-formed egg. Since then, some days they have each laid an egg, other days only one has laid an egg, we don't know which. Last few days only one has laid an egg.

They're both still acting normal, happy to see us, have treats, run around the yard and forage.

Appreciate any insight or guidance on identifying if someone is eggbound, thank you!

They might be taking some time off or its because of season change, Feel for any egg bound, If you do not feel any egg just leave it be, Margarito (MY rouen) would have pauses before laying eggs, She used to lay 5 a week and now lays 3 per week. checked up with the vet and no eggbound, It might be because your coop is dirty or shes getting used to the season changing, or whatnot.

How would we "feel" for an egg bound?

Sorry for the long response, You should feel underneath her vent, If you feel something lumpy or round near her vent area she would be egg bound
This does not apply for every egg that is stuck, they can be stuck higher up where they can't be felt. @yarrowhouse if you think there is a possibility your duck might be egg bound get the Calcium Gluconate and give her 1 ml by mouth Cal glu makes the duck have contractions and gets the egg moving.
Like @WaterfowlsPoultry said she could also be taking a break. But anyone who has female poultry should have Calcium Gluconate on hand just in case.

Thanks for the info and medicine advice. We don't have it but will add to our duck medkit.

Good news they laid 2 eggs this morning, so looks good. They continued to act normal when it was just 1 egg. Maybe she was just slowing down, taking a break.

They have to take breaks or the calcium they need for strong shells would come from their bones. It’s normal for them to take a couple days to a week or more off to build back the calcium. Very good news you got 2 eggs today. Enjoy!
