They fruits on mine (which grow wild by us) are green, and yellowish green when ripe.

We have these growing on the fence by our chicken pen. It gives them shade in the summer as well as pretty flowers and fruit. Best plant we have found for growing by the pen!

If you buy Easter egger hatching eggs can you know for certain that they will lay colored eggs? Or is it uncertain until you see the eggs?

If you buy Easter egger hatching eggs can you know for certain that they will lay colored eggs? Or is it uncertain until you see the eggs?

Are the hens Easter eggers? Or are the eggs being sold as Easter eggers?

An EE hen could have a brown and a blue egg gene, so there is no guarantee she will pass the blue egg gene to her offspring. However, if she was bred to an Ameraucana then the pullets would produce either green or blue eggs.

I sell my eggs as EE eggs because the rooster is a Crested Cream Legbar. The hens lay brown eggs, but all the babies will get the blue gene from the rooster and will be Easter eggers. Hope that makes sense!
