I was about to ask what color egg he laid

Hes a mix that may not even include American Dominique. He is homozygous for barring and is at least heterozygous for extended black although another color traits looks like he is crow winged / birchen as well. Type is way off the mark.

The standard "What is this?" answer recently has become "Olive Egger".

He's got a nicely solid build and a totally out-there comb. I have no clue what he is.

My answer was based on the fact that farm stores usually don’t sell “random” mixed breeds, though I’m wondering if that farm store sources from a local breeder rather than a hatchery.

The combination of his coloration and his comb are just crazy. I'm too inexperienced to have any idea what would produce them.
