Not now days, not here anyways.
We also hire teens for evening shifts. Nothing to it. Feed, water, sweep basically. Most only work one or two nights a week and I swear they call in more often then they work.
My bosses new motto is a bad employee is better then no employee. My answer is.... but is that really the only options? Apparently so.

All I know is I LOVE horses. And animals in general. But I’m not sure I want an animal related job because I’ve heard you can burn out and start hating them. And I’ve experienced that a little bit myself.
