Crumbles or pellets?

What is better to feed laying hens? Layer crumbles or layer pellets? What brand do most of you like to use? They are red hens, really not sure of the breed.

It is all in personal prefrence. I prefe to use crumble over pellets. I used to use Dumor (still use it for chick starter and grower), but now ive switched to a local feed mill's mix, so they dont sell it anywhere else but there. Im curious what other chixken people prefer too.

Thank you for your response! I called the local co-op here and they have a grain mix that they make themselves or a different brand layer crumbles or pellets. She was unsure of the brand name. I just wonder what I really need to look for in food for my chickens.
