Crazy duck

One of our ducks keeps attacking my husband boot when he goes to put them in for the night! We have lost a lot of new bantams as well. A lot of our flock were given to us and wandering why this duck likes my husband's boots? Just inquiring on what is good for growing around their pen. Wanting to grow some healthy things for them and for fun? Thankyou for everyone's help and love your site!

Pretty ducks! I grow peas for my ducks in the spring. Cabbage in the fall. But those have to be grown outside of their reach or they will not grow enough to turn into anything before being eaten. lol

In their run I'm growing grapevines that are protected from their plundering bills to give them some shade over their pool area. The most fun they have is pool time which is a small pool right now as they're in a mobile coop on pasture.
