Corn Meal Mix

Can chickens eat self rising corn meal mix? I know they love corn meal but not sure about the self rising part of the mix, or should I just bake them up a batch of corn meal muffins and give them that as a treat?

My yardbirds will eat anything that doesn't eat them first. I wouldn't give them it to them uncooked because of the baking powder and salt but chickens love bread of any kind and as long as they have a place to get grit and scratch around mine do fine.

Thanks it is low in sugar and salt but I wasn't sure about the baking powder.
I guess corn meal muffins it will be for them.
