Was out and about today. Had to go to Jacksonville in order to get a Covid 19 test. It is negative. Once that was done I went to the Farm Market to pick up vegetables and chicken wing flats as ell as chicken tenders.

My Dad was navy had to help clean up after pearl harbor was attacked ..

Do you have a recipe for making extracts? If you have one would you share it?

Simply take a quart jar, fill it at least 1/2 full with item you want the flavor of. Fill the jar the rest of the way with highest proof vodka you can get. Put it in a dark place for about 6 months. You can start taste testing it at 6 weeks, but the longer you let it set, the stronger it gets. Pour the contents minus the fruit or herbs, into dark bottles. Fill the old bottle with more vodka. The things you are making into flavourings is good to use for one year. After that, you need to start all over again.
