Hey everyone!! Meet my babies Rio(left) and Cherry(right). I got them a month back from a breeder who told me they were 5 months old and that he couldn't tell their gender. Now they are 6 months old. They are not tame at all, they get scared whenever we go near them. Yesterday i saw that they were mating, Rio is the male, apparently. The mating continued for like two minutes maybe. Are they ready to breed??? Should i provide them a nesting box?? Or is this just a phase and they were just playing?? I read they breed when 18 months old. They are too young now. What should I do?

I dont believe mating means that they are Male and female. They also sound too young. But it's actually more important to find out if they're siblings, you should not allow siblings to breed!
