I just posted in this thread trying to revive it a day or two ago. It used to be super lively just kinda died but hopefully that changes! What questions did you have about your roo?

Well, I'm just starting this breeding adventure and I wanted to make sure I was starting with good stock, so to speak. I was really just wanting someone with Cochin knowledge to let me know what they thought of my rooster. If he was a good candidate for showing and breeding. I can read the the APA SOP all day long, but it helps to have an actual person with knowledge giving me some feedback.

Right, I don't breed so I don't know a lot but I dabble If the roo in question is the one in your avatar he looks really nice; he looks like a quality breeding bird, but I can't give any sort of professional opinion.

I just got my bantam cochins this morning from Ideal hatchery. 3 self blue and 12 frizzle. Can't wait to see how they turn out. (Also got some sebrights at the same time.)

So excited about these new self blues. I sure hope I have one pullet at least. I already have two little cockerels from the ebay eggs I hatched - one is a porcelain project and one is a self blue.
