When I logged in this AM, there was a fascinating article about an ongoing experiment trying out different ways, ie "old wives tales," of sexing chicks. There were 10-15 methods being evaluated, from needle-swinging to wing shape to scattering when startled. It was filled with graphs and pics and descriptions of the "participants," thirty-some (34?) to date. I can't seem to find the article. Maybe it was actually in a forum? Did anyone else see it?? or am I just losing my mind (oops, too late
