Hi. Maybe it is too soon to tell? Just wondering if anyone has idea about these 4 week old chicks…male or female…and how you can tell (or get an idea of which).
One or two really look like the comb is getting ‘reddish’…if that possible at this age. Thanks for your help!

Bigger pinker combs getting red would indicate males. You have just 4 chicks, or are we seeing more than? What breeds?

So one white one, and one white/beige one…both appear to be males because the comb is starting to get reddish? That would never happen for a female? Still learning….

I see 3-4 cockerels. But you should wait until 6 weeks to confirm. The white one with the huge pink single comb is definitely a cockerel, but the others I'm not sure. I see pink, but single combs are my comfort area, not the other comb types.

The other white chicken may be female.

I am going to guess the whites are one male and one female. The other 2, not sure yet. Take more pics next week….
