Yesterday, DH saw proof that Niven knows when she has broken the rules. Mother’s Day is super busy for restaurants so DH was going to be gone for 12 hours. We didn’t want Niven to have to stay in her crate that long so DH used a baby gate to confine her to the kitchen. But when he got home that night, he found her lying in the middle of the living room. The second he spotted her, she looked him dead in the eye, grunted at him, and took off running down the hallway
