We are going to make a big batch of apple pie moonshine today! My favorite adult beverage. Not actually moonshine by the true definition, since I dont have a still (that anyone knows about, anyway...) The recipe on the internet calls for a gallon each of apple juice, apple cider, cinnamon sticks, sugar and a 5th of everclear and a 5th of vodka. Makes several quarts in Mason jars to be stored and aged. I havent had any for years, but its sippin' liquor that is definitely not to be taken lightly.

I volunteer to help keep it out of the hands of those who can't tolerate it!

Oh shoot, it was a guy from WV that showed me how to make it! I had to look it up on the net to remind me of the proportions. I hope mine is as good as his.
