Blue Runner sexing by feet color

My wife and I bought 3 Blue Runner ducklings hoping to get 1 female. They are about 5 weeks now but their feet are still very dark. Do we have 3 drakes?!? This picture was at week 3 but the feet still look the same. Dark/speckled.

Never heard of sexing by feet colour ever in any breeds..

My word, they are all so very cute.

You could probably voice sex them by now (or at least in the next few weeks) - females make a deep quack and drakes a hoarse whisper. Unfortunately foot colour won’t give you any indication of sex.

Thank you for the replies. I read somewhere that female runner feet turn orange ish and males stayed dark. Then I saw some pictures that supported that thought.

As far as quacking goes.. We haven't heard a true quack yet. But when we leave them after visiting they all seem to make a honk/croak type sound. Its definitely not a classic quack. We shall see.

Nope I have a blue Runner and her feet are not orange.
