Working on getting Smarty Pants to eat with the flock again. Her bearded son who I culled, was the one who started the whole, mounting of her thing. He'd make his two brothers tackle her after him, as soon as she jumps down from the roost. They terrorized her, to the point she wouldn't eat, or drink on her own.
Since I've gotten rid of the problem bird, she's getting mounted less often by her other son's, allowing her to come down without being tackled instantly, & repeatedly.
One thing I haven't figured out is why they singled her out, among all the other ladies in the coop.
