We have a mating pair of Welsh Harlequin ducks and their 6 week old duckling in need of a new home.
We had aspirations of adding ducks to our flock of free ranging hens. However, it turns out I’m intolerant to duck eggs and I can’t find anyone locally that wants to buy the eggs either.
Unfortunately, we also can’t keep them out of our stream and I’m afraid we’ll lose them to predators. I’d love for them to have a place to swim where they aren’t at risk and can socialize and wander freely with other ducks and chickens.
We’re located just outside Asheville in North Carolina. Please let me know if you are interested. I am really motivated to find a better set up for them.

They are very beautiful ducks! Are they friendly at all? How much would you sell them for? Maybe you could keep them, and sell ducklings from their eggs since you can't eat them! Have she ever gone broody? Are they pure bred?
Thank you. I’m just hoping for some offers and I’ll go from there. They are pure bred. It’s an unusual breed. I’ve never thought to sell the ducklings but the eggs are definitely fertilized! She is not broody in the least, maybe due to the cold weather? We incubated the duckling we have. They are a bit standoffish but we can pick them up no problem. They are easily led to and from the water, so I guess I’d call them cooperative.
