I recently homed a 2019 Lady Amherst, the chap who I got him from said he was selling due to losing the hen.

He also said that previous chicks came out albino?

Has anyone ever heard/seen this happen before?

Should I question the fertility of my new friend

I've never seen an albino Lady Amherst....doesn't mean it's not possible!
Can you post pics of your bird?

Yeah, I tried searching to see if such a thing was possible but not a thing shows up…

But from what I have read everything seems to be in order with his colours

Wow! If true it would be a sight to see! does he have a blog or page I can see it? Can’t imagine them being too healthy

You'd have to find him on facebook. They're healthy it's actually a myth that all albino or leucistic animals have issues. The myth got started when people found albinos in already very inbred populations. Since albino is recessive it tends to appear more in closely related populations. The breeder in question is doing enough outcrossing to keep his healthy.
