8-9 Week Old Silkie - Pullet or Cockerel

Have a 8 or 9 week old black Silkie. Any idea if this is a pullet or cockerel? I'm a new chicken owner, and would love some insight into what characteristics you look for when sexing a silkie.

Looks like a cockerel to me because of head feathers. Sillies are hard to tell, though.

It's too early to tell. Silkies need to be quite a bit older than other breeds to accurately sex.

It's a little early, but I'm leaning pullet! She's so cute!

Here are some comparison photos. Buff is pullet, black is cockerel.
8 week old pullet:

8 week old cockerel:

15 weeks it was pretty obvious

You can definitely tell the difference at week 18

Too young to tell. Not an obvious boy at this age anyway. Recommend posting at 16 weeks if still uncertain.
