Almost 6 weeks. Told they are likely whiting true blue. I have 2 of them. The whiter one and brown. A week ago I noticed the white one getting a slightly red but small comb. I can’t find many pictures online to compare. Wondering if it’s looking more pullet or cockerel.

Thanks. That’s kind of what I was thinking but it is noticeably redder than the brown one, but that may be normal variation with WTBs. I’ll update pics again in a week.

Update one week later, so 7 weeks. Grey/white is bird in question. Brown has started a more prominent comb but not as large or red as the white one. Pullet or cockerel?

Interesting. I’ve been starting to consider that a possibility. What are you looking at to Sex them? Stance? Tail feather shape? Comb? Thanks for the reply.
The comb on the lighter one is large enough to tell, but it also has darker markings on the shoulders which indicates cockerel. The other I'm going off of the brighter, darker color on wings and back

Interesting. I haven’t heard of the dark markings associated with sex in WTBs. I had heard/read that their color can be very variable, but eggs are always blue. From reading on here, it seems like much red in a comb early on is concerning for cockerel.
