4x4 pen

Would a 4x4 pen work for a trio or quad of bantams? I would partition it off from the bigger pen which is 8x7.

I will occasionally keep a trio of standard sized games in a 4 x 4 pen that is on ground. More birds requires more frequent moving of pen to allow continuous access to grass. If birds in elevated coop, then more maintenance required to keep manure under control. Smaller bantams should do fine as a quad and be less inclined to damage each other than are standard sized birds.
