3-4 week old chicks feathering

My chicks have been starting to lose their fluff and their new feathers are coming in. I have a chick who has a ton of pin feathers but is looking kind of bald on it's belly. First time chick mama here. Is this normal? 3 to 4 weeks old.

It's perfectly normal. Chickens have what are called featherless and feather tracts, and the belly has some featherless tracts

Thank you! I went searching for mites or lice. They all otherwise seem healthy. This is our biggest chick, has grown the fastest and has a larger bald area. Also our only "rainbow" chick so I was especially unsure!

If it was lice or mites you'd see redder skin, and eggs at the base of the feathers
