I would have a freak-out about the fact that it's barely May, but I remember that you live in Texas.
And 69% humidity and 83°F. It's a mite hot n muggy, but for Texas, rather pleasant. We have wind, so the bugs are laying low. Nice day for a visit to the beach.I would have a freak-out about the fact that it's barely May, but I remember that you live in Texas.
Of course it was one of those times I didn’t have my phone ready, but when we were at the lake, there were 5 pairs of Canada geese 4 with babies all swimming out at the same time. It was an adorable sight!!!!
All are great! The little hernia chick perked right up after a day without the big boys in the incubator and he seems to be a perfectly healthy developing chick. It’s really too early to tell but I’ve got a suspicion that they are all cockerels. Even so it was a very fun experience hatching in the incubator for the first time. I’ll definitely do it again, but I’ll do a little more preliminary research next time. You were, as usual, a huge help! Not dead Jewels!
How are the chicks doing?
