RIRs and some RIR crossed with Cinnamon Queens. Here’s the little pullets from that group. I’m keeping all of these except 4. Otherwise they would have been long gone.

These are all the little cockerels that are left. I just separated them from their sisters. I had to take this poor BC’s ladies out and turn the love shack into a bachelor pad.

Wow! That’s quite a window. I would have set on Sunday if I had known that. My big incubator might have a few hold out until 4/2, but I doubt it. Mine usually come early instead of late. 4/1 will be wrapping up the stragglers most likely. The little one should be dead on.

It is. Model 4250. Hatch rates usually run really close. 75-85% no matter which one it is. Been doing “dry” hatch with much success! 😁

22 total (16 RIR & 6 RIR cross). RIR pen have not been laying as well since they know I’m collecting for hatching. The one on the left has already been going for a week. I originally said I was setting some bantam Cochins for Easter also, but customer demand calls for all big chickens right now.
