My soul mate passed 2 weeks ago. This was his house/property and will be sold. I close on my property on 8/15 and will move there. It's about 20 miles from current house, so not far. Gotta move coop and run, plants and belongings. Gonna need fridge, washer and dryer. And someone to store birds...

Morning! Broughr coffee and cookies

Sorta kinda iced coffee I made coffee, went out on porch and took a few sips. Set coffee on table, went to coop, fed watered cleaned. Came back to porch-coffee has ice in it. Poured it out-waste of good coffee and made a fresh cup. Coffee cake on the side Life is cold

Sonetimes.....I want something a little different. Partner doesn't-so after he's coffeed out, I make a pot of pecan-ahhhhh

Eell.. fudgecakes. At 5 a.m. it was 60 and foggy, no coat,, now, its 57 windy from the north @ about 15 mph, no fog; coat, I'm cold.

Yep, I will wait until after next cold spell to mow. Yard is looking shaggy- not really mow able yet-but need to knock down the weeds. Started tractor yesterday, same for pasture, getting ready. And so IT begins.
