Next week, our nights move into the low 50s, so we'll probably plant the garden then. The tulips are up! 🌷 Seems late since our fruit trees all are done blooming.

Ours is asphalt but the coop is metal so when last year we got those 50 cent piece sized, I wondered what it sounded like in there. They had run for the coop in time as it poured rain beforehand.
To be on the safe side, I would, especially if she's really young or really old, so she doesn't get a chill.
These went back in the coop looking like this and the next day they were snow white. I don't know how they do that lol.
They're just like the robins...must be able to hear the worms as there's a few of them out there pulling them up left and right. I guess if we were going fishing, our chickens could come in handy in getting worms for us. :gig
69F. It was a very nice day until a big storm moved in so it's raining now.
The younger silkies ran for cover. The older ones know better and just stay out. They know that's when the worms come out.
I created a post to see if anyone knows more about bear behavior as it's concerning. They were funny to watch, but are their parents watching them too from a distance?
