Random nosebleeds in the middle of the night 😒😒

It really was. They make the funniest calls lol

as far as I know, most (all?) parrot species do not migrate. I saw this one with two others late in the evening, heading back to their roost site for the night from their feeding areas.

It's a smaller parrot that's native to northeast Mexico (Gulf coast area) and has been accidentally introduced via the pet trade into southern California, Florida, and Texas. I was fortunate enough to see a small flock of these guys when I was in TX not too long ago. They're so fun to watch. 🤦‍♂️

Aaaand to make matters worse, there is an actual species officially known as the Green Parakeet. (Apologies for the poor photo)

Pet Peeve: People with PHOTOS for goodness' sakes IN THEIR SIGNATURE!! I mean, can they not see how terribly distracting that is?!? I know most of those are old members that aren't active anymore but it drives me NUTS when I read old posts!!
