Unfortunately the littlest guy passed away today. I'm pretty sure that baby inherited two dwarf genes making it a peanut.
His siblings are getting super chonky already😭
I'm 90% sure they're blue, but you really never know til they're adults. Netherlands Dwarf rabbits are known for popping out...
They already grew in some hair.
The black one is half the size of its siblings, idk what to do except wait and see. If I hold the mother down to let this one feed exclusively the mother could become more stressed and abandon or even eat the others. For now it's up to mother nature.
PMoony had five babies, two were peanuts and have passed away, three are alive but one is very small.
She's taking good care of them but should something change I'll be shelving them.
Awww, I had rex for a long time but never tri, they're soooooo pretty.
I might do mini rex down the line, they're probably easier than my Netherlands Dwarf, and they come in ever color under the sun.
These two are nice and chonky. One is a black otter like mama and the other is solid black like daddy.
I'd love for y'all to name them.
Names must start with P, no names will be picked until I know male from female.
I have had so many dreams about my rabbits. The worst one was a dream that I'd gone to a rabbit show and bought a bunch of rabbits but then just forgot about them, and when I finally remembered them half of them were dead and the other half had babies😟
Awww! She looks like a broken harlequin...
Awwwwww! I wish I could do that with mine, but if even one got sick the whole barn could end up being put down😕
I clicker train them to come when called, sit, high-five, and jump. They're really fun to show off at rabbit conventions.
🎶One of these things is not like the others🎶
The little black one is a Havana, a younger, and bigger Havana. The babies next to it will be twice it's size once fully grown, they're the most popular meat rabbit out there, but my Havana will be almost the same size at butcher age. Adult size...
My little orphans❤️
Idk why but their momma (a Californian) was having a hard time with them. She still feeds them but I keep them inside and stimulate them.
